SHOULD ADS BE BANNED FROM TV PROGRAMS

We are writing
to complain about ads on tv. There are so many ads, especially during our
favourite programmes. We think they should be stopped for a number of
reasons.

First, ads are
a nuisance. They go on for a long time and there are so many. Sometimes there
seems to be more ads than programmes.

Second, ads
are a bad influence on people. They try to encourage people to buy unhealthy
food like beer, soft drink, candy and chips. And they make people want things
they do not really need and can not afford.

Finally, the
people who make ads have too much say in what programmes people watch. That
is because they want to put all their ads on popular programmes that a lot of
people watch. Some programmes which are not so popular get stopped because
they do not attract enough ads, eventhogh those programmes may be someone’s
favourite.

For those
reason, we think your TV station should stop showing ads. They interrupt
programmes. They are bad influence on people, and they are sometimes put a
stop to people’s favourite shows. We are sick of ads, and now we mostly watch
other channels.

BalasHapusWhile watch my favourite movie in tv the ads is longer than the movie, not just that there are many ads that try to advertise many unhealthy food or unnecessary things. The tv that shows too many/long ads just search ratings and profit
Thank u for your comment. As we know that ads is actually boring and disturbing but for the TV station it is so usefull to support their program. I agree with your opinion that the advertisement just shows the unhealthy food and bad life style. it is very dangerous for youngster. it will lead them to the bad habit. The TV station should select their ads, so that the viewer can enjoy their favourite shows and good ads too.

HapusI agree with the writer that ads are very disturbing our favourite programs, because the ads go on for a long time and there are so many. Sometimes, the ads are boring and not entertain for me. Some of ads are bad influence on people especially children, because there are some ads that are not good for airing.

HapusBut, if there isn't any ads, many company or business get difficulties to promote their product! I also say yes about writer's opinion about ads, but we should look at from different points of view. Not only from one point of view. So, we can make conclusion that wiser. Thank you.

BalasHapusI'll give my opinoin about banned the aids from TV.
First, maybe aids waste many time, but if we calculate the price to make an aids in television, it should very expensive. because it count by second. So, it's mean that only several product can show and advertise in TV. It'll wise onough if we still let the aids on TV
Second, Because the ads are expensive, so a program will increase its quality if it is supported by enough money that get from the ads
Third, the ads is amusing. . Some of ads, give the viewer motivation, and information about product that spread in our environment, sometimes, ads also make the viewer laughing and feels happy.So,not all of ads are bad and not educated. If we get the not educated-ads, the way can we do is banned the bad ads. :)

HapusIt's nice to have you here. Somehow ads is very useful for us, such as, make us entertain, feel happy, and forget about the busy day.
I agree with you with the bad ads which annoying us with the bad influence. Make us become greedy, eat the unhealthy food, become someone else with akward style, and many more.
Hahaha... if there are no ads, all of TV station will be same with TVRI Jogja / Nasional. No ads, it's mean no income to the TV station, and then.. they will cannot make good program. And TV will be bored. :(
HapusSo.. the things that we can do isn't banned the ads, but STOP the bad ads.
but I thiiink, some opinion about disagree with ads because of disturb our time when we watch film or sverel program is not too right. ads will make some rest for us, because that will be non-stop program. It make us feel tense. hehehe, so ads of course have big benefits for us. :)

BalasHapusI think ads is important, because ads is the most effective communication tool to promote or introduce a product, either directly or by another media. The ads aired on television is very advantageous, that can show by picture / show products with the maker of ads creativity. Ads also can reach into areas difficult to reach physically by the manufacturers with television broadcasts. Eventhough that seems so expensive but the right advertising strategy make it cheap.

Hapusyups you're right that ads is very important for the trader and marketer to promote their product. What about their product? Is it a good or bad product for the viewer or the consumer? Since it is bad , should they cover the reality to the viewer/consumer? Give me your arguments!
i very very very disagree with ads miss !!!!!!! . because ads distrub our favorite program . when we watch television we must watch the ads too , it's very very very not important you know miss ? . ads can make people wanna to buy not important things and people not need it . and ads is wasting our time , our favorit program just 30 minute but the ads is very very very many . so the favorit program just play 20 minute . its so distrub miss . our time wasting just for watch the ads . actually , we doesnt understand about the ads . ads about softex , laurier , charm"selalu ada untukmu" . look miss , its very very very not important . i now that softex is important for women , but not must ads in television . its distrub many people who not use softex , laurier , charm like me and many boy other . OMG the conclusion is i disagree with ads because ads wasting our time to watch television . Thats all for me , if you found many mistakes , please forgive me .

Dubrak....WKWKWK. OMG. Kephin, i am sure that you don't enjoy in watching the tv programs because of the ads (especially products for the woman). Well, at least you know that many women are the victim of the mean ads. oh no...and i am one of them. You should give the solution how the ads (products for the women) should show?
Hapusi disagree with ads mrs, but sometime i like with ads when in ads there are joke or sentence can motivate our spirit. such as ads from silver queen "life is never flat" or ads from axis it's very entertain because very funny.

I will give my opinion about ads in TV programs. I disagree with ads in TV programs.
BalasHapusFirst, the ads disturb many people are watching movie.
Second, now many ads are bad quality. That’s ads advertising with phornography.
Third, the ads on display in decent. The producers just think get many profits by the ads.
Although, some the ads are good but the product of ads are not supposed to be consume by many people, the example is cigarettes.
So, would be better if the editor of TV chose the feasible ads for childrens, teens, and adults.

I will give my opinion about ads in TV program. I agree about that
BalasHapusat firs with the ads in program Tv the program in Tv become more colorfull, because many various program in Tv and certainly better because sponsors Tv (ads)
Second the operational of Tv program will not be disturbed because sufficient funds from ads Tv its better than no ads but we must pay a Tv program (subscribe to tv like indovision if dont know)

i disagree with ads in TV, it's very distrub our favourite TV program, but if the ad is removed must also be very influential, because of TV programs and commercials ongoing and complement each other. but it is much better, for TV operators to further pick and choose where the ads are nice and quality so that the viewers / audience do not feel bored watching TV because the ads are not qualified
